Bati · Philippines
Community guidelines
Bati works when everyone can trust the ad, the person, and the meet-up. These guidelines keep the marketplace honest for 161 cities and municipalities nationwide.
Listings that belong here
- Post real items you own or are authorized to sell, with your own photos and an honest description of condition and flaws.
- One ad per item, in the right category and the city where the item actually is — no duplicate or bait listings.
- Price in Philippine pesos. No fake prices (₱1 for a car), no price-in-title tricks, and no ads that exist only to collect leads for another service.
- Some items are never allowed — weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen items, regulated wildlife, and anything on our Prohibited list.
How we treat each other
- Reply honestly and on time. If a deal falls through, say so instead of going silent.
- Keep negotiations inside Usap. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and discrimination are not tolerated.
- Respect privacy — never share someone's phone number, address, photos, or chat without their consent.
- No spam: no mass messaging, no advertising other services in chat, and no review manipulation.
Fair dealing
- Meet in public, inspect the item, and pay only what you agreed — never pressure the other side to change terms on the spot.
- Sellers: mark the ad Sold when it is done. Buyers: don't commit to a purchase you won't show up for.
- Offers and counter-offers are part of Bati — respond to them even when the answer is no.
What happens when rules are broken
- Ads that violate these guidelines can be hidden or taken down after moderation review, and repeated violations can suspend or ban the account.
- Serious issues — scams, threats, or stolen goods — can be reported to law enforcement with the evidence you provide.
- If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal a decision from your account page or via the contact form.
