Bati · Philippines
Accessibility statement
Bati should work for every Filipino buyer and seller. This statement describes our accessibility target, the measures in place today, and how to tell us when something is hard to use.
Our target
- We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the public marketplace, member pages, and staff console.
- The site is audited on every release with a scripted axe-core pass over the ten busiest templates plus manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.
What is in place
- A skip-to-content link is the first focusable element on every page.
- All interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
- Dialogs trap focus, close on Escape, and return focus to the control that opened them.
- Text and control contrast meets at least 4.5:1; touch targets are at least 44×44 px.
- Every page works in English and Tagalog, and the document language follows your choice so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
- Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion, and status messages use polite ARIA live regions.
Known limitations
- Seller-uploaded photos may not always include alternative text; we provide automatic labels from the ad title in the meantime.
- Third-party embeds (maps, payment iframes) are partially outside our control.
Report a barrier
- If you hit something you cannot use — a control that does not work with a keyboard, text you cannot read, a form that will not submit — tell us through the contact page and include the page address.
- We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and fix confirmed barriers in the next release.
